Hanover's workhorses
On era III layouts, Hanomag tractors like the R 16 pull hay wagons along the field track, while Kurier and Garant serve craft businesses and breweries as flatbeds and panel vans. The brand thus fills exactly the gap between cars and heavy trucks.
Wiking and Brekina carry tractors and vans in many variants. In 1969 the commercial vehicle branch merged with Henschel into Hanomag-Henschel – the end of an independent history that lives on in miniature.
