SBB (Schweizerische Bundesbahnen) is among the most popular prototypes in H0 scale. The Swiss railways are known for their punctuality, their modern vehicles and the spectacular Alpine routes. In the model world, manufacturers such as Roco, Märklin/Trix, HAG, Fleischmann and L.S.Models offer an extensive SBB range from Era II to the current Era VI.

Typical SBB models include the versatile Re 4/4 II (Re 420), the long-distance locomotive Re 460, the legendary Crocodile (Ce 6/8) as well as modern Vectron locomotives. In passenger service, EW IV coaches, IC2000 double-deck coaches and Giruno tilting trains are represented. The classic red SBB livery is a signature feature on every model railway layout.
