Athearn
Athearn is one of the oldest and best-known American manufacturers of model railways in H0 scale (1:87). The company was founded in 1947 by Irv Athearn in Los Angeles and is known above all for detailed models of North American prototypes — locomotives, freight and passenger cars in US style. Today Athearn is part of Horizon Hobby and produces models under the Genesis (highest level of detail), Roundhouse and Trainman (entry level) product lines.
