King of the road
Scania stands for international long-haul like no other brand: semitrailers with reefer bodies heading for Scandinavia, timber transporters, heavy-haulage tractors in front of low-loaders. On the layout, Scania models fit wherever truck traffic feeds freight to the railway or motorway scenes take shape – the haulier liveries by AWM and Herpa provide enormous variety.
The brand is present in passenger transport too: coaches on Scania basis complete the range. Classics of the 1960s and 70s such as the LB 76 or 110/111 can be found at Brekina and Wiking.
