Henschel models
Henschel is the multi-sector brand par excellence: Kassel produced steam, diesel and electric locomotives as well as the heavy trucks of the boom years. Around 150 models in 1:87 show both worlds. An overview of the model cars and more of the Henschel brand.
Kassel on road and rail
On the road, Henschel bonneted trucks like the HS 140 and the 1960s cab-overs stand for heavy long-haul and construction work – often with trailer in haulage service. On the rails, the tradition spans steam legends to diesel locomotives that fill chapters of their own as models.
Brekina and Wiking carry the truck classics. In 1969 the commercial vehicle branch merged with Hanomag to form Hanomag-Henschel – this transition period is documented in miniature too.
