DR H0 Models – The Deutsche Reichsbahn on the model layout
The Deutsche Reichsbahn (DR) was the state railway of the GDR from 1949 to 1993. DR models are particularly popular among collectors and are offered by numerous manufacturers – from Roco, Piko and Tillig, through Brawa and Fleischmann, to Gützold. The models cover Era II (pre-war Reichsbahn), III and IV with the characteristic green and red-brown colour schemes.
DR models in the range
The range includes steam locomotives such as Class 01.5, Class 44 and Class 52, electric locomotives of classes 211/242 and 243, diesel locomotives such as Class 120 (Taigatrommel), Class 118 (V 180) and Class 110 (V 100) as well as the typical double-deck coaches and Reko passenger coaches.
