Derived from the E10, it shaped Bundesbahn passenger services for over four decades — in steel blue, Ozeanblau-Beige, Orientrot and Verkehrsrot liveries.
The BR 110 (pre-1968: E10) was developed from 1956 as a universal express engine for 150 km/h and shaped Deutsche Bundesbahn passenger services for more than four decades. 379 units operated as 110 and 110.3 (with the "Bügelfalten" front) and hauled TEE, IC and express trains. Märklin/Trix, Roco, Piko and Brawa offer H0 models of all versions.
Highly sought are the original steel-blue version (Era III), the "Bügelfalten" variant (Era IV/V) and the Ozeanblau-Beige, Orientrot and Verkehrsrot liveries. The 110.5 with oil main switch and the prototype 110 511 are popular among collectors. Filter by manufacturer, era or DCC sound.
