The Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) was the state railway of the Federal Republic of Germany from 1949 to 1993. DB models rank among the most popular in H0 scale and are offered by virtually all major manufacturers – from Märklin, Roco and Fleischmann, through Brawa and Piko, to Liliput and Trix. The models cover Era III (from 1949) and Era IV (from 1968) with the characteristic colour schemes.
The range of DB models is enormous: steam locomotives of classes 01, 03, 44 and 50, electric locomotives such as the legendary Class 103, Class 110 and Class 151, diesel locomotives such as the V 200, Class 218 and Class 211/212 as well as a wide variety of passenger coaches and freight cars. Particularly popular are the ocean-blue and beige TEE liveries of Era IV and the classic green vehicles of Era III. Use the filters to search specifically by manufacturer, current system or era.
