Piko offers a three-tier passenger coach range: the Hobby line as an affordable entry option, the Standard programme with good detailing, and the Expert and Expert Plus lines with high-quality models, fine lettering and interior fittings. As a DC manufacturer, Piko supplies most models in DC; many wagons are also available in AC versions. Interior lighting is often integrated ex works on Expert Plus models.
Coach types and focus
The programme includes compartment and open-plan coaches, Eurofima coaches, IC coaches, double-deck cars and classic Reichsbahn types (Halberstadt, Y/B-70, Mod. AB) and DB types. A particular Piko strength is the DR coaches of Eras IV and V and the Eastern European range with PKP, ČD and MAV coaches.
