BR 151 H0 Models – The Heavy-Haul Locomotive of DB

The BR 151 was developed from 1972 as a six-axle heavy-haul locomotive for the heavy iron-ore trains between Hamburg-Hansaport and Salzgitter-Beddingen. 170 machines with 6,300 kW continuous power were the backbone of DB Cargo heavy-haul services for decades. Märklin/Trix, Roco, Piko and Brawa offer H0 models of the 151 in all liveries and with the characteristic double pantographs.

BR 151 Liveries and Special Variants

Highly sought are the original steel-blue version (Era IV), the Ozeanblau-Beige and Orientrot liveries, the Verkehrsrot of DB Cargo (Era V/VI) and special models such as 151 075 in advertising livery.
