DSB H0 Models – The Danish railway on the model layout

DSB (Danske Statsbaner) is the Danish state railway and a popular prototype in H0 scale. In the model range, Märklin/Trix and Roco lead the volumes, complemented by the Danish specialist Dekas as well as Piko, Brawa, Heris, Fleischmann, A.C.M.E. and L.S.Models. The models cover Eras III to VI, with a focus on the classic NoHAB diesel locomotives of Eras III and IV.

Typical DSB models include the legendary NoHAB diesel locomotives Litra MY and Litra MZ, the electric Litra EA and EG, the universal diesel Litra ME, and the characteristic IC3 multiple unit – nicknamed "Gumminæse" ("rubber nose") in Denmark for its rubber transition coupling. In passenger service, classic DSB coaches in red-and-black and the later red-and-white liveries are represented, together with freight cars and the Copenhagen S-tog suburban network.
