BR 03 H0 Models
All H0-scale models of the BR 03 at a glance: the lighter sister of the BR 01 as the second standard-class Pacific express locomotive of the Deutsche Reichsbahn in 1:87 scale. With its 4-6-2 wheel arrangement and 130 km/h top speed, it shaped passenger services on lines with lower axle loads from 1930 onwards.
BR 03 H0 Models – The Second Pacific Standard-Class Locomotive
Built from 1930 as a lighter variant of the BR 01 for lines with reduced axle load, the BR 03 was used on DR, DB and Bundesbahn services. 298 units were known for their smooth running and classic Pacific lines. Märklin/Trix, Roco, Brawa and Liliput offer H0 models covering all variants, from the DRG original with Wagner deflectors to the Witte deflectors of DB Era IV.
BR 03 Variants and Configurations
