Piko is one of the leading German H0 manufacturers, based in Sonneberg, and offers a three-tier range concept: the Hobby line for beginners and starters, the Standard programme with good detailing, and the Expert and Expert Plus lines with high-quality models for demanding collectors. As a DC manufacturer, Piko supplies most models in DC; many wagons are also available in AC versions.
Wagon types in the range
The programme includes covered freight wagons, sliding-wall wagons, container flat wagons, tank wagons, self-discharge, high-side and low-side wagons as well as heavy-duty wagons. A particular Piko strength is East German and Eastern European wagons — the DR range is exceptionally extensive, complemented by many PKP, ČD and MAV models.
