Märklin Diesel Locomotives H0 – From shunting diesels to mainline locomotives
Diesel locomotives are among the most popular models in the Märklin range. The models faithfully reproduce the diversity of diesel traction – from the compact shunting diesel, through mainline diesel locomotives, to heavy large-diesels. Many models are factory-equipped with mfx decoder and sound, including realistic engine noises and signal horn.
Eras and classes
The range covers all eras of diesel traction: from the first large diesels of Era III such as the V 200, through the universal locomotives of Era IV such as Class 218 and Class 216, to modern multi-purpose locomotives. Shunting locomotives such as Class 363 (Köf III) and the V 60 are also in the programme. Particularly popular are the heavy mainline diesel locomotives of classes 218, 232 and V 200.
