ČSD H0 Models – Czechoslovak railways on the model layout

The ČSD (Československé státní dráhy) were the state railways of the ČSR and ČSSR from 1918 until the dissolution of Czechoslovakia in 1992; their successors are ČD (Czech Republic) and ZSSK (Slovakia). In H0, Roco and Piko provide most of the models, complemented by Brawa, Fleischmann, A.C.M.E. and Tillig. The focus is on Eras III and IV, complemented by Era II for the pre-war period.

ČSD classics in the range

Among the steam locomotives, the express-train 498.1 "Albatros", the heavy 477.0 "Papoušek" ("parrot") and the 555.0 "Němka" — built as wartime class 52 — are among the most popular models. On the diesel side, the ČKD T 478 family with the "Bardotka" (T 478.1/2) and the "Brejlovec" (T 478.3/4) sets the tone, alongside the small M 152 (today class 810). In passenger service, the typical ČSD Y/B coaches in green/cream dominate. Filters help you search by manufacturer, current system or era.
