All H0-scale models of the BR 141 at a glance: the DB regional electric locomotive of the first standard-class generation, predecessor of push-pull engines, in 1:87 scale. Derived from the E41, it was from 1956 the typical regional and medium-distance locomotive of the Bundesbahn — from the "Knallfrosch" whistle to the Verkehrsrot livery.

BR 141 H0 Models – The DB Regional Standard-Class Locomotive

The BR 141 (pre-1968: E41) was developed from 1956 as a regional universal electric locomotive of the DB standard-class series. 451 units shaped regional passenger services and express trains of the Deutsche Bundesbahn. It became known as "Knallfrosch" for its distinctive whistle. Märklin/Trix, Roco, Piko and Brawa offer H0 models of the 141 in all liveries.
