The four rings stand for the Auto Union tradition – and since the Audi 100 for the rise to a premium brand. Around 460 models in 1:87 accompany this path from the F 103 via the quattro to A4 and A6 in official service. An overview of the model cars of the Audi brand.
Four rings in 1:87 scale
On era IV layouts the Audi 100 C1 pulls up outside the station building, in the 1980s the quattro brings rally glamour to the scene, from era V onwards A4, A6 and the estates dominate as official cars, taxis and unmarked vehicles. Thus the brand covers post-reunification Germany almost completely.
Herpa has carried the Audi programme in fine detail for decades, Wiking and Busch add classics and special series. The other brands of the period provide matching car surroundings.
