Lima

Lima is an Italian model railway manufacturer that was among the world's largest providers of H0 model railways especially in the 1970s and 1980s. The brand today belongs to the Hornby Group and is used above all for re-releases of classic models. The range comprises 280 H0 models.

Lima was known for affordable entry-level models with appealing looks and solid running characteristics. The range covered locomotives and wagons of various European railway companies — from DB, FS, SNCF to British Rail (BR). Many of these models are today popular with collectors as vintage pieces.

Under the Hornby umbrella, re-releases and new products occasionally appear under the Lima label, building on the brand's tradition and appealing to both nostalgic collectors and new buyers.
