The BR 212 (pre-1968: V100.20) was built from 1962 as a light universal diesel locomotive of the Deutsche Bundesbahn. 381 units with 1,350 hp and 100 km/h shaped diesel regional services and light freight on non-electrified lines. Märklin/Trix, Roco, Piko, Brawa and Fleischmann offer H0 models of the 212 in all liveries — from the original Altrot scheme to the Verkehrsrot of DB Regio.
Highly sought are the DB Altrot livery (Era III/IV), Ozeanblau-Beige, Orientrot, the Verkehrsrot of DB Regio (Era V/VI) and the private-operator schemes of ALEX, BoB, OHE and many others. The sister classes 211 (V100.10) and 213 are also available as models. Filter by manufacturer, era or DCC sound.
