Märklin Steam Locomotives H0 – The fascination of steam
Steam locomotives are the classics in the Märklin range and particularly sought-after among collectors. The models stand out through finest detailing, prototypical proportions and excellent running characteristics. Many steam locomotives are factory-equipped with mfx decoder, multi-voice sound and partly with a smoke generator – for an authentic steam locomotive experience on the model railway layout.
Eras and classes
The range covers steam locomotives from all eras: from the state railway locomotives of Era I, through the standard locomotives of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (Era II/III), to the final years of service with DB and DR in Eras IV and V. Particularly popular are classes 01, 03, 44, 50 and 86 as well as the legendary Crocodile. Narrow-gauge and industrial locomotives also round out the programme.
