BLS AG (Bern–Lötschberg–Simplon) is the second-largest railway operator in Switzerland and runs the Lötschberg axis as an important north–south transit route through the Alps. In H0 scale, Roco offers the most extensive BLS range, complemented by models from Piko, Rivarossi, Liliput, Brawa, L.S.Models and Märklin/Trix. The models cover locomotives and coaches from Era IV to the current Era VI.

Typical BLS models include the classic Re 4/4 II in BLS livery, the BLS-specific Re 425 (formerly Re 4/4 III), the powerful Re 465 "Lötschberg", the modern Re 485 and Re 486 freight locomotives for cross-border traffic, and the low-floor RABe 535 "Lötschberger" multiple unit. Characteristic features are the blue-and-cream livery of the older vehicles, the light-blue BLS Cargo design and the red passenger coaches.
