Description
This six-piece coach set is the base pack representing the InterCity Night (ICN) hotel train of Deutsche Bahn AG in Talgo articulated design. The consist comprises two driving end cars (Dz 881 and Dz 882), two sleeping cars (WLAz 889), a bistro car with reception (WRkz 885) and a lounge car (WRz 887). The coaches are coupled by articulated joints and rest on single-axle running gears — true to prototype for the Talgo articulated train. The set represents the early ICN service phase from 1994 onwards with the characteristic blue "InterCityNight" lettering. Overall length is 88.5 cm. Can be expanded with set 41772.
